Selvaraghavan marry Geethanjali, daughter of former advocate General of Tamilnadu P S Raman. The wedding took place in a posh hotel in Chennai. On his wedding, Selvaraghavan says, 'I wish that we stay happy forever. She happened to meet me during the shoot of Irandam Ulagam and I still don't know who first expressed their love'.
