Rajanna to Postpone For a Month.?

Akkineni Nagarjuna's 'Rajanna' film shooting almost completed except for one song. If the song shoot gets completed very soon, film is expected to hit screens in July or August. But Nagachaitanya's 'Dhada' film completed shooting and is currently busy with Post Production Works. 'Dhada' film makers are planning to release film in July last week or August first week. Obviously a competition would occur between father and son affecting each other collections. So being the producer of 'Rajanna', Nagarjuna giving way to his son by postponing his film by 1 or 2 months.

Mahesh, Mani Ratnam's big-budget shelved?

A strong gossip is making round in the Chennai film circles that Mani Ratnam's dream project Ponniyin Selvan is called-off. It is also heard that the filmmakers have also informed Vijay, Mahesh Babu, Arya, and Anushka to de-freeze, their dates given for Ponniyin Selvan.

Mahesh was quite happy signing this bilingual with the ace director Mani Ratnam.

However, this historical project is called-off due to its over-budget of approximately 100 Crores. Producers and the corporate houses are not ready to risk on the film in the current situations. Also, the movie doesn't offer any commercial elements and Mani Ratnam's previous outing Raavan resulting as disaster is making the producers think twice. As of now, the movie has been shelved.

The project will kick-start, if any of the producers or the corporate houses are willing to invest an amount of 100 crores.

Director gets irritated with Pawan Kalyan

Despite the fact that we have innumerous talents with us, the film industry gives scope to perform only one at a time and that is always better.

Pawan Kalyan's 'Teen Maar' movie is about to release on April 14th, but the controversies are adding one after another. Few days ago, it was about title and now it is about the director.

We all know, Jayanth C Paranji is the director of the film and Trivikram Srinivas provided screenplay and dialogues for the movie. According to the sources, Trivikram directed some pivotal scenes in the movie. As Pawan Kalyan didn't like some of the scenes directed by Jayanth, he asked Trivikram to re-shoot the scenes. Trivikram obliged his request and went ahead with the re-shoot, which created vaccum between Pawan and Jayanth.

In fact, Trivikram was the original choice to direct the movie. But due to the date clashes, Trivikram agreed to give screenplay and dialogues. It is well understood by the speech of Pawan Kalyan during the audio release function. Pawan Kalyan had more praises on Trivikram than director Jayanth. Now, Pawan Kalyan asked producer Ganesh to add Trivikram name in titles under directors category. Director Jayanth strongly objected and wants to take up the issue with film chamber and decided to approach even courts if he denied justice at film chamber.

Raccha's shooting from 24th April

Ram Charan is getting ready to hit the screens very soon with his upcoming movie. The title of the film has been framed as 'Raccha'. Ram Charan is all set to play the lead and it is being directed by Sampath Nandi'. The movie is being jointly produced by Paras Jain and NV Prasad under 'Super Good Movies' banner. The presenter of the film is RB Chowdary. Shooting of the movie will commence from 24th April. Earlier the same title was chosen by Surender Reddy for his film with Junior NTR but somehow it was not finalized. Now, the title 'Raccha' has been grabbed by Sampath Nandi.

The king of commercial ads Prince Mahesh Babu has bagged one more ad commercial to his credit. He is making his screen presence more on small screen rather on big screens these days with his ad commercials.


He is being offered more and more of ads by the companies as he earned lots of craze among the youth and especially among the girls. The latest ad that Mahesh will be endorsing is for the mobile service provider Idea owned by Aditya Birla group of companies. He is now the brand ambassador of Andhra Pradesh for Idea-An idea can change your life!

Until last year its Siddharth who is the face of Idea but as his one year contact got dissolved in March 2010. Now Idea officials got an idea of bringing Prince Mahesh as the poster boy starting from the financial year April, 2011.

Mahesh will be launching the 3G services into the market and the company's idea will surely bring some change in business with Mahesh effect.
