The latest rumour doing the rounds in Tollywood circles is that Trisha will soon be seen in a bikini in her coming Tollywood flick, Bodyguard.
It was also said that Trisha was demanding extra bucks, a whopping Rs 25 lakhs to be precise, for her bikini appearance in the film, a remake of the Malayalam hit Bodyguard, with Venkatesh in the lead. The film was earlier remade in Tamil as Kaavalan, with Vijay and Asin.
About the bikini, an unperturbed Trisha, who has remained in the top slot for the last 9 years, told DC, "It sounds ridiculous! I can only laugh off such baseless rumours. Any sane person, anyone at all who has watched Bodyguard or Kaavalan will know that there is no scope for the heroine to appear in a swimming costume, even if it were a dream song! The film is a cute, emotional love story with both the hero and heroine having equal footage on screen. I think I have reached a stage in my career where I can pick and choose projects which suit my image and my inclination!"
The Mankatha star says she has been getting several heroine-oriented scripts and is yet to take a call on any of them.
When asked about the buzz that she will be making her Kannada debut (something she's been avoiding) with Puneeth Rajkumar in a film directed by Nagshekar, the VTV girl says that talks are on but nothing is finalised!
